Human Resource Management (HRM)

A guide to using the library's resources

rows of bookshelves

How do I search for print and electronic books?

Search for books and journal articles using the library website: http://library.lincoln.ac.uk

library search box

It is recommended that you log in to the library website before you begin searching.  You can do this by clicking on the 'My Account' tab, selecting 'Students and staff' and entering your university email address (yourstudentIDnumber@students.lincoln.ac.uk) and your Blackboard password.

Search tip: If looking for a specific book, type the author's surname and keywords from the title of the book in the search box.

When you find a book that you would like to borrow click on the 'Reserve item' button.

Please note that books that you reserve will only be held on the reserve shelf for 3 days.  If you have reserved a book that is out on loan and you get a notification to say that it is available but you are unable to collect within the 3 days, please email library@lincoln.ac.uk explaining the situation and they will see if it is possible to extend the pick-up date.
