Finding resources available from the library

A good starting point for identifying what print and electronic resources we have access to is the Library search.  This searches our catalogue and some, but not all, of the electronic databases subscribed to by the University. The advanced search provides more options to build and refine your search.

More resources can be accessed from the Find menu of the Library website.  These include:

  • Subject Guides - specific library guides for your subject including databases and relevant websites.
  • Databases – specific electronic databases available from the Library can be searched individually.
  • Electronic Journals – check if the Library has electronic access to specific journal titles.
  • Ebooks – Ebook databases available from the Library.

New to the University

Members of staff have a library card created automatically.  Your library card is your staff ID card.

Information on using the Library is available from: https://guides.library.lincoln.ac.uk/about/using-the-library
