EndNote 21

EndNote 21 has a useful new feature called EndNote Click. 

EndNote Click is a free plug-in browser that helps you to get full-text pdfs from academic websites in one click. It works with the Library's subscriptions and open access articles - if our subscriptions don't provide access to an article EndNote Click will search for an open access alternative.

To install EndNote Click:

• In EndNote 21 click on Tools from the top menu bar
• Select Install EndNote Click Browser Extension
• This will open the EndNote Click webpage - click on the Add to (Edge/Chrome etc) button and follow the instructions for your browser.

Search the internet using your preferred browser

When you select a compatible article the EndNote Click pop-up will appear 

Click on this to see your options

Exporting to EndNote 21:

• In the left hand menu select Export Reference
• A file will now pop-up in the top right of your screen - double click on this .ris file to send your selected article to EndNote 21
