We can help you with: understanding and planning your assignment; assignment structure; paragraph structure; introductions and conclusions; argument and critical thinking.
We can't edit or proof-read for you, but we're happy to show you how you can do it for yourself.
We can't comment on the subject content of your assignment.
When you need help with referencing, your Academic Subject Librarian will be happy to help you.
You can find us in the Learning Development room on the ground floor of the Library, at these times:
Mondays 11.00-13.00 and 17.00-19.00
Tuesdays 12.00-13.00 and 17.00-19.00
Wednesdays 9.00-10.00 and 17.00-19.00
Thursdays 14.00-16.00 and 17.00-19.00
Just drop in to see us, but if we’re already helping another student, please let us know you are waiting and we will see you as soon as we can.
You can see us for a maximum of 20 minutes in a drop-in: if you think you will need longer, please make an appointment.
If you have a draft of assignment that you want to discuss with us, please bring a print-out to your appointment.
You can make maximum of one appointment per week.
Please go to the events calendar on the library homepage to see our workshops (you will need to book) and spotlights (just drop-in).
