Scan and Send is an electronic document service which allows you to receive scans of book chapters and/or journal articles by email from all three university libraries  (University Library,  The Ross Library, and NCFM Library). 

Who can use Scan and Send?

The Scan and Send service is open to:

  • Undergraduate dissertation students
  • Postgraduate research students
  • Research staff 

What can I request via Scan and Send?

Any items you request must be currently held in print in our libraries and must not be available electronically via our library collections.

You may only request up to one chapter or article from a book or journal issue. These limits are governed by copyright legislation, and you will be required to complete a copyright declaration when making your request.

 

If necessary, we may contact you to clarify your requirements and will notify you if we are unable to fulfil your request. We will try to fulfil your request within 10 working days (excluding bank holidays).
