Digital Skills

The Student Digital Skills team, located within the Library on the Brayford Campus, provides services and opportunities designed to empower all students with the digital literacy required for academic success at the University of Lincoln.

The Student Digital Skills team is a new service launching from September 2025; therefore, this page will be frequently updated with information and resources as they are developed. In the meantime, we encourage you check the Library Events page for upcoming workshops or webinars.

Our friendly and helpful team specialises in a range of digital skills areas, including:

• Learning – such as Blackboard, Panopto, and Turnitin.
• Productivity – such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Innovation – such as Artificial Intelligence (AI).
• Accessibility – such as Blackboard Ally and Microsoft Read Aloud.
• Creative Production – such as posters, web design and audio/video editing.

We deliver a range of workshops and webinars throughout the academic year to support you with digital skills for study and for your assignments.
