Reference management software helps you to organise your references and generate citations and reference lists.
The Library provides access to and supports:
If you need to learn about referencing or need information on a specific style visit our referencing page to download one of our Referencing Handbooks or to find out more.
If you are using the University's Harvard Referencing handbook you should select Harvard - University of Lincoln (2nd edition) from the 'Output Style Manager'.
IMPORTANT: The bibliography generated by RefWorks will follow the main principles of the guide; however, you are responsible for checking it as the output of each information source will depend on the information exported from the library website, database or Google Scholar. It is recommended that you check for capitalisation, spelling and punctuation, as well as the format of a source.
EndNote is available from the Software Centre on any networked campus University of Lincoln PC or Mac. You will need to download it while you are on-campus, but once you have, you can access from off-campus using the University Cloud network.
If you'd like to arrange a training session on RefWorks or EndNote for your school please contact your Academic Subject Librarian to discuss your requirements.
