RefWorks is a web-based reference manager that allows you to create your own personal database by importing references from online databases and other sources. You can organise and manage your references, use them when writing an assignment and automatically create a reference list/bibliography in your selected citation style.
RefWorks is available to all University of Lincoln staff and students.
Click on Log in to RefWorks link to login to RefWorks.
When the login box is displayed, select Use login from my institution.
Type in Lincoln and then select University of Lincoln from the drop-down menu. You may then be prompted to sign in with your University email address and password. You should then get logged into RefWorks.
The first time you access RefWorks you will be asked to create an account. You should provide your University email address when setting up the account.
RefWorks will always open on the All References page so if it is the first time you have used RefWorks you will have an empty page.
If you want to use RefWorks after you graduate you should update your profile before you graduate. You will need to update your profile to include a new email address, and create a password.
