Office 365

Office 365 is available free to ALL students, supported by ICT services. Office 365 has applications such as Word, Excel, Powerpoint and OneDrive.

How do I get it?

Go to 365.lincoln.ac.uk and login with your University email address (studentIDnumber@students.lincoln.ac.uk) and password. You will then be forwarded to an area where you can configure your OneDrive and install Microsoft Office applications.

Printers and print charges

Print charges:

Paper size Colour Single sided Double sided
A4 Black and white 2p 4p
A4 Colour 5p 9p
A3 Black and white 3p 5p
A3 Colour 6p 10p

Please note: The printers are defaulted to print in black and white and double sided so you will need to change this before sending your work to print if you want either to print in colour or single sided.  

To print in colour, go to File > Print > Print Properties and select 'Color'.
To print single sided go to File > Print > Click on the drop down menu for the box that says 'Print on Both Sides' > Select to 'Print One Sided'.

How to change your password

Changing your password

It is recommended that you register for self-service password resets.  This will give you the option to change your password without having to contact ICT. 

Please note that you will need to enter your existing password to be able to register an alternative email address and security question so this needs to be done before the need to change your password. Click here for more information.
