Once you have EndNote installed on your computer/laptop you have the option to add citations as you type when using Word:
- Place your cursor in your Word document exactly where you want the citation to appear. Then select the EndNote X9 tab on the Word toolbar
- In Style select the appropriate referencing style then click on Go to EndNote
- Select the reference(s) you wish to add, then click on the Insert Citation icon
- EndNote will add your in-text citation and create the corresponding reference list entry in your chosen style
