If your referencing style requires footnotes this can also be done in EndNote:
- In Word, first click on the References tab then Insert Footnote
- With your cursor still in the footnote, click the EndNote X9 tab- choose your referencing style - then click on Go To EndNote
- Select your citation(s) and then click on the Insert Citation button as usual
