Adding references from Google Scholar

Go to Google Scholar and search for sources by typing relevant keywords into the search box.  From the results page, click on Cite underneath the required source.

A pop-up box will appear. Click on the RefWorks option.

RefWorks will open.  It is possible to select if you would like to assign the reference to a specific folder in RefWorks.  To do this, select the relevant folder from the drop-down menu displayed in RefWorks.  Then click on Import.

RefWorks will then provide information on whether the import was successful. Click on Go to Last Imported to view the item in RefWorks.

It is important to check the references to make sure the information is complete and accurate and the correct reference type is selected.  It is recommended that you refer to the referencing handbook for the style that you are using to make sure that all the required information is included.  Some editing of the references may be required.
