It is possible to add a Save to RefWorks button on to your Internet browser which can be used to add some website references to RefWorks. This seems to work best using Google Chrome. To install the Save to RefWorks button make sure that your Bookmarks bar is showing on your Internet browser. Then click on Tools in RefWorks and select Tools again from the drop-down menu.
Click on Install Save to RefWorks.
Then drag and drop the Save to RefWorks button on to your Internet browser Bookmarks bar.
Go to the website that you would like to add to RefWorks. Click on the Save to RefWorks button on your Internet Browser Bookmarks bar. A RefWorks form with the details of the website should launch in a sidebar on the right-hand side of the screen. Check all the information is correct and then click on Save to RefWorks at the bottom of the form to save the reference into your RefWorks account.
If the Save to RefWorks tool does not work for a specific website, follow the guidance for manually adding a reference.
It is important to check the references to make sure the information is complete and accurate and the correct reference type is selected. It is recommended that you refer to the referencing handbook for the style that you are using to make sure that all the required information is included. Some editing of the references may be required.
