It is important to check the information for each reference when it is imported into your RefWorks account. To edit a reference, select the source in your RefWorks account by clicking on it and the details will be displayed on the right-hand side of the screen. Then click on the Pencil icon in the top right-hand corner to edit the reference details.
Check all the information is correct and alter any information as required. The reference type can be changed, if necessary. It is recommended that you refer to the referencing guidelines for the style you are using to make sure that all the required information is included. If you need to add additional fields to those displayed, you can click on the Add more fields button and either search for the relevant field or scroll down the list.
There is an option to add an attachment. Once an attachment is added it is possible to read it within RefWorks and annotate it if required.
When you have finished editing the details click on Save to ensure the changes are saved.
