Musical Theatre

This is a guide to using the library to study musical theatre.

Beyond Lincoln

This page is designed to help you find books and articles written about your (dissertation or thesis) topic that we do not have in our library collections at Lincoln.  Our inter-library loans scheme let you bring the books and articles to Lincoln. Sconul Access gives you the opportunity to visit other UK academic libraries to use their collections.

Other academic library catalogues

You can search the catalogues of most libraries before you visit by finding their catalogue online. Type the university name and the words library catalogue in a search engine.  Searching before you visit allows you to make efficient use of your time while you're there.   Some libraries have walk-in user services which allow you to access some of their electronic resources, too, while you're on site.  Check library websites for details about their visitor services.

Finding Articles

Some of our databases provide the bibliographic information about an article, but not the full text.  You can get a copy of these articles by requesting them through inter-library loan. See our full list of databases here.
