The Green Theatre Book
The Green Book is an initiative by the whole of theatre – working with sustainability experts Buro Happold – to work more sustainably. In three volumes it sets standards for making productions sustainably, for making theatre buildings sustainable, and for improving operations like catering and front of house. Staff and students can sign up for free access to their resources on their website.

ABTT - The Association of British Theatre Technics The Association of British Theatre Technics is a charity and membership organisation which campaigns on behalf of the theatre industry to ensure legislation is appropriate to the industry’s needs. They provide technical advice, consultations, training and are a vital resource to those working in the technical theatre industry.
ALPD - The Association for Lighting Production and Design The Association for Lighting Production and Design is the body representing all those who work in or are interested in the creation of lighting for live performance and events. It is an association that welcomes lighting designers, technics and programmers across the full range of performance lighting disciplines.
ASDP - The Association for Sound Design and Production The Association for Sound Design and Production provide a supportive community and a variety of educational and professional networks, with resources, publications, directories and seminars.
SMA - Stage Management Association The SMA is the trade association for stage managers, providing advocacy and support, offering news, resources, training and career support.
SPBT - The Society of British Theatre Designers The Society of British Theatre Designers (SBTD) is the professional association for designers working in live performance across a variety of genres and scales both nationally and internationally.
