Reading lists can be found in the 'Module Resources' fold in Blackboard Ultra. You can link the relevant published reading list in the folder by:
- Clicking on the 'Module Resources' folder
- Selecting the 'Module Reading List' option
- If you are not logged into Talis Aspire you will need to click on 'Start' then 'Finish authentication process' and finally 'Continue'
- It will suggest a list to link. If this is not the correct list, click on the cross and search for the relevant list
- Select the complete list and click on Save.
You can embed sections of the reading list into your weekly teaching schedule by:
- Scrolling down to the relevant week or area where you would like to add the reading.
- Opening the week's content by clicking on the title or the arrow to the right of the screen.
- Moving your mouse over this area and when a + icon appears, clicking it, and selecting 'Digital Tools'
- Scrolling down and clicking on 'Talis Aspire Reading Lists Deep Linking 1.3'
- This will redirect you to the Talis linking tool and suggest the list(s) attached to the Blackboard Ultra site. From here you can choose to embed the entire list or a section of it. Click on your preferred option.
- To embed a section from the reading list, once you have clicked on 'Select section' you will see a list of the different sections within the reading list.
- To add the section, click on the relevant 'Embed section' button and this will add the section to your Blackboard Ultra site. You can check that you are adding the correct section by clicking on 'Preview'.
