Blackboard Ultra

When adding content to your module site on Bb Ultra:

  • Scroll down to the relevant week or area where you would like to add the Talis link
  • Open the weeks content by clicking on the down arrow to the right of the screen
  • Move your mouse over this area and when a + icon appears, click it, and select ‘Digital Tools’
  • Scroll down and select Talis Reading List by clicking on the + icon in the bottom right-hand corner
  • Go back to the relevant week and it should have added a link to the ‘Talis Reading List’ – note that the item is hidden from students so you will need to click on the drop-down arrow to change this status
  • Click on the link and you may be asked to authenticate.
  • Click on ‘Start’ and then ‘Finish authentication process’ and finally ‘Continue’ and you will be taken to the reading list for the module.
  • Click on the sections drop down menu to select the relevant section of the reading list and then click on ‘Save’.

When you have saved the relevant section of the reading list, remember to make the content visible to the student.
